CWVerse - Raven

In a small village, a woman name Arella was kidnapped by a satanist group who worshiped Trigon, the demon of sin. This group Took Arella to a nearby cave, surrounded by strange glowing violet crystals when she was Raped and flagellated repeatedly, she live under this circumstance for 6 days until the villagers arrives and slain at gunfire the entire group.

Arrella was found in the cave barely alive, the days isolated let her starving to death a she was losing a lot of blood. Because the village was lacking of a good medical clinic and appropriately trained doctors, Arella was taken to the Village Priest. The Priest prepared her a special medicine with the crystals from the cave and some herbs and heal her wounds, unknown by the Priest, Arella was left pregnant

Arella died in childbirth, and when the baby was born, with no relatives to take care of her, she was given into adoption. Under the name "Rachel Roth", the daughter of Arella quickly discovered that she can do things the other kids can't. scared by her abilities she shut herself in books and homeworks, she rarely left her room.

The years passed and, at the age of 14, Rachel's powers grew beyond her control, the break point was in her foster father's funeral, when she was overwhelmed by the emotion that is emanating from the people in there. She freaks out and run away,cut out from her family and everything she once knew.

after some research about her origins, Rachel found her way to Azarath, the Village in which she was born. She was looking for the priest who gave her in adoption, just to find out that the priest passed away five years ago, Rachel was heartbroken, for the one man who can help her was dead.

I pull away a bit from green Lantern to bring you something different. i decide to make a more grounded version of Raven that match the tone of both the Arrow and The Flash tv shows, cause i'm always was a supporter of the idea of magic been a more advanced and unknown form of science (probably because i am more of a marvel fan) i revamped most of her powers and origins to tight up with the Indigo Light of compassion.

Most of her powers are stay the same, her unique physiology infused with the indigo Energy allows her to empathically absorb the pain of injured people to ease their suffering, and induce rapid healing. She can control, manipulate and or generate the Indigo energy, she can manipulate emotions as well, the Time control, teleportation, Astral form and clairvoyance are the only things missing. A birthmark in her left arm glows every time she use her powers along side her eyes
